    Description
    Future Build are currently working alongside a well-established and financially secure £60m turnover main contractor that undertake construction, refurbishment and fit-out projects across a variety of sectors.
    They currently have a great opportunity to join their Business Development team, working alongside the rest of the Pre Construction and Marketing team.
    Role and Key Responsibilities:
    Primarily based at their head office in Hertfordshire, they're looking to strengthen the successful pre-construction team with the addition of a business development professional at coordinator or manager level (dependent on experience).
    You will play a key role within the business development function and report directly to the Head of Business Development. Your main objectives will be to generate new business and tender opportunities through identifying and developing contacts that operate across the public and private sector within the construction industry.
    To achieve this, you'll need to be personable with a good phone manner, enthusiastic and confident when interacting with potential clients, consultants and architects at meetings, company functions and networking events.
    Duties will include:
    • Identifying and interacting with stakeholders to generate tender opportunities
    • Proactive attitude and initiative to pursue leads and progress business opportunities
    • Inquisitive, confident and capable of arranging and attending appointments
    • Organising and attending industry functions and networking events to promote
    • Cultivating key accounts to ensure client satisfaction and repeat business
    • Collaboration with the wider 'work-winning' team and technical staff
    This role will suit someone from a 'sales' background with main contractor or within the construction industry, who has ambition and a desire to progress within a dynamic and vibrant company.
