    About Us
We are SafeLives, the UK-wide charity dedicated to ending domestic abuse for good.

Working with organisations across the UK, we are transforming the response to domestic abuse.

Together, we design and deliver support to thousands of adults and children every year, putting survivors' voices at the heart of everything we do, whilst challenging and supporting perpetrators to change.

No one should live in fear. It is not acceptable, not inevitable and together, we can make it stop.

The Drive Partnership, formed by Respect, SafeLives and Social Finance, is working to transform the national response to perpetrators of domestic abuse by disrupting, challenging, and changing the behaviour of those who are causing harm.

Together we have developed the Drive Project to address a gap in work with high-harm, high-risk perpetrators of domestic abuse.

We are now looking for a Drive Partnership Programme Manager to join our team on a full-time basis for a two-year fixed-term contract.

What's more, with a designated professional development fund, you can rest assured we're investing in your growth and encouraging you to hone your skillset.

So, if you're ready to be part of our dedicated team working towards a safer and more inclusive society, then apply today.

    The Role

As a Drive Partnership Programme Manager, you will oversee the roll out and delivery of the Domestic Abuse Protection Order (DAPO) pilot Triage Model.

The model will assess individuals for the suitability of interventions and will be rolled out in the pilot sites which are going live in May 2024.

It will then be tested and evaluated in order to prepare for national roll out in 2026.

Line managing three members of staff, you will ensure that the service is being delivered in line with the model, collaborating to collate learning and implementing consistent development to delivery.

You will develop positive working relationships with the multi-agency partners in each site including police, courts, local authorities and the Home Office, to enable delivery and effectively support the triage teams.

You will be responsible for all reporting and support the external evaluation of the programme.

    Additionally, you will:

    • Lead on the national roll out and delivery of the triage model
    • Provide support through a matrix management system
    • Develop and lead a team across multiple sites
    • Work closely with the Practice Advisor to develop effective working relationships
    • Collaborate with Respect member organisations

    • Experience of working on complex cases in a multi-agency environment
    • Experience of working with other professionals to manage risk and safeguard vulnerable adults and children
    • Experience of managing a team
    • Experience of working at a strategic level in partnership with the voluntary sector and statutory sector organisations
    • Experience of data monitoring, analysing data and providing reports for funders
    • Experience of working within domestic abuse service delivery, child protection and/or safeguarding roles
    • An understanding of the root causes of domestic abuse on both an individual and societal level
The closing date for this role is 16th May 2024.
