    Director of Logistics

    Location:

    Salary:
    £50,000 - £65,000 per year depending on experience

    Do you have many years of experience in logistics and supply change management? IHP is a well respected organisation providing access to essential medicines, bridging the gap between pharmaceutical companies and aid agencies to enable medicine donations that literally saves lives.

    As Director of Logistics you will be responsible for overseeing the logistics and supply chain functions of the organisation within a GDP compliant environment.

    (GDP training will be provided if you are unfamiliar with this).

    You will play a critical role in IHP's future growth, with overall responsibility for defining logistics strategy to support this growth, and leading the department to deliver this.

    You will thrive on creating innovative solutions to problems, building strong relationships with partners, and ensuring excellence of service.
    To oversee the management of IHP's Supply Chain

    • To oversee the onboarding and management of warehouse relationships
    • To oversee improvements to operational processes across Logistics
    • To ensure stock is managed and shipped efficiently, in line with IHP's Wholesale Dealers Authorisation (WDA) license
    Extensive experience in logistics or supply chain management

    • Proven ability to design and execute supply chain strategy
    • Technical and applied understanding of logistics software and warehouse management systems
    • Experience in analysing metrics and datadriven decision making

In the last three years, IHP has sent over 27 million treatments to vulnerable communities around the world – places such as Yemen, South Sudan and Haiti. We run multiple partnerships to support this work – with pharmaceutical companies who donate medicines, our logistics partners who help us warehouse and ship the medicines overseas and finally our valued NGO partners and individual medics delivering healthcare to those who need it. Together these partnerships enable medicines to reach those in need.

    GBP £50,000 - £65,000 per year depending on experience
