Description

Kinaxia Logistics are recruiting a Business Development Manager to join our Sales and Marketing team. As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for improvement of our market position and achieve financial growth. You will be required to define long-term organisational, strategic goals across the Kinaxia group building key customer relationships, identifying business opportunities and negotiating and closing business deals.

Monday - Friday
40 hours per week

Roles and Responsibilities:

Identify new prospects and opportunities for warehousing, freight, co-pack, VAS (value added service) business growth
Build a strong new business pipeline of opportunity with regular face to face meetings
Secure additional business
Ensure added value where possible
Maintain a sound understanding of all services, procedures and standards offered by the Kinaxia group
Develop a comprehensive database of prospects on the CRM
Prepare detailed presentations and quotes, preparing monthly reports to the board
Meet individual targets set and provide support to meet annual group targets
Attend networking events and exhibitions

Your knowledge and experience:

Experience of project management
SWOT analysis
Knowledge of sales forecasts and tracking industry trends
Relevant industry experience to enable prospecting new business (minimum 5 years preferred)
Experience of devising strategic plans to expand sales
Ability to demonstrate, understand and apply our Company values. These are embedded in all roles and applicants must evidence these values as part of the application process.
