First point of contact for requests for colleague data and reporting, both from inside and outside the P&C team.
Act as the key technical advisor, administrator and custodian of the main P&C Operations systems including procurement, implementation and configuration of new and existing systems and technical lead on data and systems-related projects and upgrades.
Create and oversee a comprehensive suite of P&C Operations reports, prioritising new data requests aligned with strategic objectives, while also crafting tailored monthly and quarterly people metrics reports for varied audiences (colleagues, Senior Leadership Team, Exec, Council).
Develop and manage the P&C Dashboard (BI) to provide regular and ad hoc reports in visually engaging formats, analyse the data and identify current and future trends compared to external benchmarks.
Liaise with a range of stakeholders on process re-engineering, streamlining and automation to ensure delivery of excellent P&C Operations service that is both user friendly and encourages colleague self-service.
Shape the continuous development and improvement of the people metrics, gather insight and analysis from people metrics and organisational data sources to inform business decisions and actions which results in a measurable improvement in business performance and people metric trends.
Proactively use data and analytics to identify areas for continuous improvement across the employee lifecycle.
Work with the Head of P&C Operations and various stakeholder groups to develop People Metrics and reporting.
Technical expert and gatekeeper of the P&C Operations platforms (current and new), ATI integrations, workflow engineering/changes, security profiles, organisational hierarchies and troubleshooting.
The Ideal CandidateWe are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our team, showcasing a significant demonstrable experience in people data and systems management within a high performing, fast paced People/HR team.
You will possess hands-on experience managing HRIS systems (ideally Cascade), and a solid history of championing the full lifecycle of new system implementations, from conceptualisation to vendor engagements, process structuring, and seamless integration into business operations.
The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, adept at data extraction, dynamic report generation, and proficient in Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel. A knowledge base that extends to Power BI would be highly advantageous for this role.
As our internal technical data guru, you will revel in the process of data dissection, have the ability to create compelling stories that resonate with stakeholders out of raw figures/information, and a talent of breathing life into trends and numbers, especially when handling vast datasets.
Having a robust understanding of GDPR guidelines, with a sharp focus on data protection and risk management, is a key requirement of this role.
Your knack for nurturing internal and external relationships, paired with an uncanny ability to thrive under pressure, adapt swiftly, and prioritise tasks with precision, will set you apart.
Are you someone who embodies resilience, possesses a problem-solving mindset, and eagerly embraces the ethos of "What we can do" over limitations? If you can envision the bigger picture while seamlessly collaborating within a team and autonomously driving impactful contributions to our P&C Ops function, this role is tailored for you.
We welcome applicants from all backgrounds, and we encourage you to apply even if you feel you do not match 100% of the technical requirements. We celebrate diversity, promote inclusivity and strive to create a work environment which ensures everyone can be heard.
About The CompanyMedical Protection Society (MPS) is the world's leading protection organisation for Doctors, Dentists and healthcare professionals. We protect and support the professional interests of almost 300,000 Members around the world, in countries as diverse as the United Kingdom, South Africa and Hong Kong.
We are a not-for-profit organisation, meaning our Members' premiums are either invested into bettering the organisation, its employees and our products, or kept safe should our Members require support for complaints or claims arising from professional practice.

To do this, we need colleagues who are trusted and supported to deliver their best work, whether that be through leadership development, fully-funded training courses or peer-to-peer support. We want our colleagues to feel empowered enough to deliver positive change, display ambition to push themselves and are determined when faced with a challenge, whilst ensuring our Member's best interests are at the core.
