    Description

    SECURITY SYSTEMS ENGINEER
    We are currently looking for a Security Systems Service Engineer for corrective and preventative maintenance visits.
    Key Accountabilities

    • Call outs & On Call cover
    • Maintenance
    • London travel/work required

    Salary:

    Skills and Abilities

    • Experienced at installing security systems with speed and accuracy
    • Strong communication skills
    • Report writing
    • The ability to review site plans
    • The ability to meet deadlines
    • Proven problem solver
    • Can-do attitude with the ability to adapt to change
    • Working efficiently under limited guidance
    • Punctual and conscientious
    • Full UK car driving license
    • Self-improvement, the ability and aptitude to learn new systems
    • An understanding of IP and networks

    Desirable Experience:

    • A minimum of 3-year experience working on the following
    • Access Control
    • Door Entry
    • CCTV
    • Intruder Alarm
    • ECS certified
    • Carrying out site surveys with sales team for quotations
    • Installing door furniture on a variety of door types (e.g. wood, metal and glass)
    • Integrating multiple systems e.g. hardwire link access control and intruder alarm
    • Installing to NSI standards
    • Basic understanding of IP networks and aware of VLANS
