    Description

    We are a recruitment agency collaborating with numerous Care/Nursing homes in the United Kingdom. We aim to enlist proficient and experienced temporary contractors in the Healthcare sector, specifically as Chefs. Joining our team, you will contribute to delivering catering services within these homes, catering to service users with diverse and complex care needs, including those with Dementia. We provide attractive hourly rates, flexible work schedules, and weekly pay.

    Role and Responsibilities:

    • Oversee the preparation and cooking of food to meet quality standards and presentation guidelines.
    • Create and develop menus that align with the culinary theme, dietary requirements, and customer preferences.
    • Orchestrate kitchen operations, overseeing staff, delegating tasks, and ensuring a seamless workflow.
    • Maintain high standards of food quality, taste, and presentation through rigorous quality control measures.
    • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, implement proper sanitation practices, and maintain cleanliness in the kitchen.
    • Exhibit adaptability and flexibility in response to evolving culinary trends, customer preferences, and seasonal ingredients.
    • Ensure customer satisfaction through consistently delivering high-quality, flavourful, and well-presented dishes.
    • Effective management time to synchronize the prompt preparation and delivery of food, particularly during peak service periods.

    Ideal Contractor:

    • Must be hardworking and Honest.
    • Must have a catering or food hygiene certificate.
    • Must have previous experience as a cook or a chef.
    • Must hold a valid enhanced DBS.
    • Be confident and able to engage with others.
