    Description

    We are looking for an experienced econometrician (Associate Director level) who is eager to embrace new techniques and develop consultancy skills.

    The most important skill required is adaptability. You should think quantitatively and be open to exploring unconventional approaches beyond conventional econometrics.

    Join our medium-sized team and have the opportunity to shape the direction. Engage in exciting and intellectually stimulating projects.

    Transition from an econometrics specialist to a quantitative marketing consultant.

    Responsibilities:

    1. Understand clients' marketing issues.
    2. Synthesize the problem.
    3. Develop and deliver solutions.
    4. Conduct econometric projects.

    Although econometric projects are a decreasing part of our business, you will also interpret output from third-party suppliers and build on their work to create client solutions.

    Learn how to implement all our tools effectively to solve clients' marketing problems.

    Contribute to the development of new tools and techniques, and enhance existing ones.

    Identify opportunities to commercialize Data Science, selling solutions and generating income.

    Develop junior team members.

    Qualifications:

    1. Highly numerate and analytical.
    2. Strong problem-solving skills.
    3. Inquisitive beyond the project brief.
    4. Highly diligent with a focus on accuracy.
    5. Proven ability to convert analysis into actionable solutions.
    6. Understanding of marketing strategy and business issues.
    7. Experience in econometric modeling, ideally in marketing.
    8. Familiarity with MMM model output implications on media planning.
    9. Experience with modeling platforms (e.g., EViews, MassTer, Stata).
    10. Excellent knowledge of Microsoft suite (Teams, Excel, PowerPoint).
    11. Experience with other analytics techniques is desirable.
    12. Knowledge of a programming language (e.g., R/Python) is desirable.
