    Description

    Our Client is a scaling developer of cross-technology renewable and low-carbon energy projects, backed by one of the world's largest financial institutions.

    Their ambition is to establish a number of Green Energy Hubs across the UK, harnessing multiple technologies based around one grid connection.

    The DCO Manager will lead the consenting of NSIP-scale solar PV & BESS projects from inception to submission, examination and determination with an external multi-disciplinary team of specialist consultants including:
    # Environment & landscape team
    # Land referencing & land legal teams (with support from TE-UK in-house Land Team)
    # Legal team
    # Manage the consultation process with the C&E team and the Local Planning Authority, representing the project and company in a professional manner.
    Manage the relationship with the Planning Inspectorate.
    Manage the DCO examination process and represent the project as required.

    Manage any changes to the project scope, schedule and costs using appropriate verification techniques to ensure a viable consent.

    Work through each project phase with each consultant team to ensure the project remains on time/budget for submission.
    Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
    Successful track record in project management involving multiple and complex stakeholders.
    Experience leading or managing planning processes or projects for large infrastructure projects, preferably projects requiring a Development Consent Order (DCO) and/or Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA)

    Professional qualifications and/or professional memberships within Planning, Environment, Project Management, or Engineering will also be beneficial, but practical experience will be considered above this.
