    Regulatory Business Partner
    Hybrid Working Model

    We're looking for a proactive Regulatory Business Partner who can work with internal cross-functional teams and external stakeholders such as Ofgem and the Department for Energy Security and Net Zero (the Department).

    You will be the lead and main point of contact for regulatory matters on your assigned Programmes and/or Functions.
    The successful candidate is likely to become the Regulatory Business Partner for the following programmes:


    • Trusted Service Provider (TSP) / Smart Metering Key Infrastructure (SMKI) - delivery 2025. Lead on the development, planning and delivery of regulatory work-packages and products. Ensure compliance of the approaches that DCC programmes and functions are taking, either by influencing the activities of DCC teams, or by driving change of the regulatory framework.

    Represent the interests of the regulatory affairs function in programme forums and working groups, forming part of the virtual team delivering this work.

    Manage relationships with senior stakeholders in DCC and be confident in influencing and persuading at senior levels.

    Lead as required on other regulatory work packages being undertaken by the directorate as part of DCC's core business.

    They should also be confident in engaging with senior stakeholders and presenting at senior level meetings.
    A proactive and organised individual, adept at planning complex work and taking appropriate action.
    Ability to work with multiple and complex sources of data and draw out key insights.
