To provide the highest level of catering service possible for patients, visitors, and staff, commensurate with financial considerations.
Ensuring that food for staff, patients, and visitors is of the highest possible standard in the Restaurant, NHS Wards, Private Wards, commensurate with financial constraints.
To ensure that perishable and non-perishable items are ordered, received, stored and dispatched in accordance with the store's operational procedures, time constraints and department needs.
To ensure "Best Value" is achieved at all times in line with Trust and NHS financial guidelines.To liaise with the Head Chef/Catering Team ensuring that the correct procedures are being followed regarding decanting and issue of stock.
