The discipline that executes a robust process of design, creation, and optimization of systems, consisting of identification and quantification of system requirements, creation of alternate system design concepts, performance of design trade studies, selection and implementation of the best designs and verification that the design is properly integrated and executed.
Responsible for departmental operations planning/execution or is focused on execution of professional activities within a technical discipline. Lead the execution of design, analysis, and evaluation of assigned projects using sound engineering principles and adhering to business standards, practices, procedures, and product / program requirementsFormulate and implement plans to achieve technical requirements, scheduling, quality, certification, and contract commitments; Monitor and communicate project status, business issues, and significant developments
Support the identification, mitigation and capture of risks and opportunities
Assure proper documentation of technical data generated for the assigned projects and/or tasks consistent with engineering policies and procedures
provide feedback on staff performance.
Previous experience in an aviation, automotive or similar systems development environment working to rigorous standards such as ARP4754A, will confirm your experience of working with complex system designs, for implementation in hardware and software.
An appropriate degree or equivalent experience that demonstrate a logical mindset, alongside good problem solving and solution building skills.
Previous experience in leading team-based projects and providing direction and coaching to less experienced staff.Knowledge of Network protocols
