    Gecko Travel Recruitment are delighted to be working with this innovative travel technology business who are seeking a Finance Manager to join their team on a permanent basis.

    As Finance Manager you will be capable of overseeing all operational aspects of the finance department, including but not limited to bookkeeping, payroll management, forecasting, liquidity management, and providing support for profit and loss preparation. This role encompasses a wide range of financial responsibilities. You will report directly to the CEO and play a pivotal role in establishing efficient processes and generating insightful reports for key stakeholders within the management team.

    The role:

    • Management of a small finance team
    • Monitoring the company from a financial and commercial perspective
    • Assisting in the preparation and management of annual and monthly financial forecasts and financial statements
    • Serving as the primary point of contact for the operations team, management, tax consultants, auditors, and banking partners
    • Carrying out the profit and loss account and cost and performance accounting
    • Preparation of reports and legal documents

    You will have:

    • Solid experience in a similar finance role within the travel industry (essential)
    • Both English and German written and spoken language skills
    • Structured way of working with a confident demeanour
    • Hands-on mentality and strong communication skills
    • Confidence and ability to make good, informed decisions

    Additional information:

    • Salary £55-60,000 depending on experience
