- Provide direction, guidance and support to all staff within the department to ensure they carry out their roles efficiently and effectively and comply with relevant legislative, and Trust operating standards to achieve the department's service provision objectives
- Ensure positive employee relations are maintained through effective and consistent application of both ISS and Trust communication, training and managerial practises
- Ensure staff are managed consistently and in accordance with the relevant Trust policy in relation to recruitment, training, absence management, disciplinary and grievance procedures
- Create, maintain and enhance effective working relationships with the Trust, ProjectCo, and other interested organisations and individuals
- Participate in the preparation of business plans, implementation of Company led initiatives, budgets and forecasts and service improvement proposals
- Manage and evaluate objectives and targets for the service as outlined in the business plan
- Ability to provide direction, motivation, and support to the team
- Understanding and application of relevant legislative and operational standards
- Skill in fostering positive relationships through effective communication and conflict resolution
- Proficiency in recruitment, training, and performance management processes
