    Human Resources Manager, Renewable Energy

    Remote

    £30,000–£50,000 + benefits

    Are you a motivated and personable HR Manager with an interest in joining an organisation at the forefront of renewable energy development?

    MDE is working in partnership with an ambitious, well-funded, and experienced international solar developer who has established themselves across Europe. They are currently a team of less than 15 individuals in the UK, however, growth over the coming years is predicted to be healthly, yet sustainable.

    The ideal candidate:

    MDE is seeking a candidate who has exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, facilitating effective collaboration among team members. With a keen understanding of HR best practices and employment laws, they will guide the organisation in maintaining compliance while also nurturing a culture of fairness and respect. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong organisational abilities, ensuring the seamless execution of recruitment, onboarding, and performance management processes.

    Above all, the successful candidate will exhibit a commitment to continuous improvement, driving enhancements to HR processes and procedures to support the company's overall strategic objectives.

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy
    • Manage the recruitment and selection process, including sourcing candidates, conducting interviews, and making hiring decisions
    • Oversee employee onboarding and orientation programmes
    • Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on HR-related matters
    • Handle employee relations issues, including disciplinary actions, grievances, and investigations
    • Manage performance appraisal and feedback processes
    • Coordinate training and development programmes to enhance employee skills and capabilities
    • Administer employee benefits programmes and ensure compliance with legal requirements
    • Maintain HR records and prepare reports for management
    • Stay up-to-date with changes in employment laws and regulations and ensure compliance
    • Drive continuous improvement of HR processes and procedures

    Requirements for Success:

    • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; CIPD qualification preferred
    • Proven experience as an HR Manager or similar role, preferably in the UK
    • Strong knowledge of HR best practices and employment laws and regulations
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with employees at all levels
    • Strong organisational and time management skills
    • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
    • Proficient in HRIS and Microsoft Office applications
