    As the P&C Assistant within our People & Culture team, you will be responsible for the smooth operation of the administration functions of the department, providing a comprehensive and proactive service across The Travel Corporation and assist the team in delivering day to day processes and procedures.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Management of the P&C system, including contracts of employment, contractual change letters, leavers letters and all employee documentation
    • Manage a shared inbox, responding to a variety of employee queries, in a timely, polite and helpful manner. Ensuring employees have access to TTC's benefits, preparing internal communications and keeping the intranet up to date.
    • Support recruitment for our teams by posting job adverts internally and externally as and when required
    • Liaise with the Payroll Manager and ensure information is accurately sent in a timely manner, meeting payroll deadlines.
    • Support and conduct P&C conversations with team members and managers
    • Coordinate and organise social events as well as health and wellbeing initiatives.
    • Assist in scheduling, collating and publicising the quarterly training plans and monthly training calendars and assigning compliance training on our LMS and dealing with ad-hoc queries (recording training attendance).
    • Source, manage and advertise CSR and volunteering opportunities.
    • Assist with ad-hoc requests and projects as and when required.
    • Supporting the team through accurate minute taking of sensitive meetings including, grievance, disciplinary, performance and attendance management.
    • Ensuring the P&C database and employee personal files are accurate and kept up to date. Supporting payroll processes by creating new employee records and maintaining current ones.
    • Stay up to date with legal requirements and industry best practices, ensuring our HR policies and procedures comply with relevant regulations.

    Experience

    • Proactive and self-motivated with a flexible approach to work.
    • An excellent team player with a positive and enthusiastic attitude.
    • Proficient with the use of Microsoft Office packages such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
    • Excellent communication, organisational and interpersonal skills with great attention to detail.
    • Ability to communicate effectively at all levels (written and verbal), building good relationships.
    • You must be reliable and should accurately follow guidance with the ability to multitask within a fast-paced environment. A positive approach; proactive and innovative; with a vision of continuously adding value with a "can do- will do" attitude
    • Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion and always maintain professionalism.
    • Strong attention to detail and time management skills, be able to prioritise and manage conflicting demands.
