    Are you an ambitious Trade Mark Attorney/Solicitor looking to elevate your career to the next level? Our client, a prestigious Intellectual Property firm based in the heart of the East Midlands, is on the lookout for an exceptional Trade Mark Director to join the dynamic team. This is a rare opportunity to step into a role that is designed for succession planning, with the successful candidate being fast-tracked to partner level.

    Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the trade mark practice, ensuring excellence in service delivery
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to drive growth and enhance the firm's market position
  • Provide expert advice to clients on a wide range of trade mark issues
  • Mentor and develop junior team members, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous learning
  • Participate in business development activities to attract new clients and build lasting relationships
  • Contribute to the firm's succession planning efforts, preparing for a seamless transition to an equity partner role
    Requirements:
  • A qualified Trade Mark Attorney/Solicitor with 6 years' PQE, although candidates with slightly less experience may also be considered
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and experience managing a team
  • A strategic thinker with a proven track record of growing and developing a practice area
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building strong relationships with both clients and colleagues
  • A commitment to professional development and an interest in taking on leadership responsibilities within the firm
