We have represented the voice of people most affected by mental health problems in Scotland for almost 100 years.Today, in over 60 communities we work with adults and young people providing mental health social care support, services in primary care, schools and further education, among others.

Partnership Development Lead
Based in a SAMH office, either Glasgow or Edinburgh and will work across varying environments in Scotland.
Contract: 2 years fixed term until 31st March 2026
The Partnership Development Lead plays a key role SAMH's partnership with sportscotland, and other key partners.
The role is responsible for the development of new products and services Including bespoke learning and development sessions and resources; increasing knowledge and awareness of mental health, remove stigma and discrimination and support Physical Activity & Sport communities in their understanding of the positive impact of physical activity and sport on mental health and wellbeing.
The Partnership Development Lead will build capacity across key partnerships and programmes including sportscotland, community staff and leads, active school staff, sport governing bodies and those interacting with groups of various ages, genders, and needs, including children and young people, to support engagement and participation, within Physical Activity & Sport settings.
You will work in a supportive environment and will be provided with a full induction and training opportunities. Funded continuous learning and development opportunities, access to over 100 courses online in addition to classroom and virtual training sessions
