    Hybrid Working Pattern - 3 days in Office & 2 WFH

    Own, maintain, catalogue, diary and delivery of Non-Financial Regulatory reporting (including Complaints, COREP 17 etc.)

    Controls Testing / Actions and Issues Tracking)
    Proactively escalate any risk areas outside of appetite into Bank Forum and Risk Committees.

    Support Risk Partners with the completion of Senior Management Function Attestation, Policy Owner requirements, risk management activities including: risk and control registers, quarterly control self-assessment testing, incident management, root cause analysis, action planning and issue remediation tracking.

    Drive consolidated reporting of / improvements of Risk Appetite Metrics / KPIs/KRIs including the use of automation where applicable.

    Facilitate the co-ordination of key elements across the enterprise for policy governance, enterprise and risk acceptance. Responsible for collating a central repository of the Bank's risks and ensuring a monthly heatmap of both inherent and residual risks is produced to enable EXCO/BRC to understand how the Bank's risks are changing over time
    Through analysis, advise on performance against established risk tolerance and performance objectives.


    Data Governance:
    ~ Working with Risk Partnering to ensure, appropriate records and data is in Resolver to facilitate appropriate forums and committees etc. accurate reports applying Data Governance Requirements to ensure that Data is a "Golden Source of Truth".

    Work with 1LoD Stakeholders to ensure all Risk Papers are provided on time, adhere to reporting requirements (i

    Support delivery of CRC Agenda by notifying the CRO of all 1 st Line Ad Hoc Papers, aligning papers according to CRC Planner of Activity

    Oversee and management of (via up to date Governance Structure chart, ToR etc.) Governance in 1LoD which includes (Forum and clear ToR for each).

    Minimum 5 years' experience within a Risk Management Environment and related experience in a UK banking environment. Ideally with experience of developing, implementing and providing Risk Control framework reporting .
    Expertise in the procedures, processes, and systems utilised within Financial Services and/or FinTech. With a working knowledge of Risk reporting tools.
    Strong knowledge of Risk methodology framework procedures and principles. Experience with regulatory guidelines of FCA & PRA.
    ~ Ideally will have professional qualifications in Risk Management and / or Banking.
    ~ Must be able to work in a timely manner to strict deadlines as the role will be responsible for providing strong technical 1 st Line Governance and Reporting capability, support and provide guidance on risk data requirements within the 1 st Line of Defence.
    Good Negotiation and conflict management skills.
    Matrix Management of cross functional areas.
    Risk and/or governance responsibilities

    Working within the Bank's first line Risk and Control team, the role has a key focus on providing support and insight of the execution of the Enterprise and Operational Risk Management frameworks ensuring that framework and tools are used as intended to ensure that there is transparency and consistency and provide for informed risk decision making for SMF, ExCo, CRC and BRC.

    ~ Needs to be a leader that works closely with 2LoD teams and other elements of the 1 st Line Risk and Control function to understand their requirements, to facilitate the role successfully i.e. working with them to understand required reporting, analysis and insight requirements, be able to articulate the required approaches and delivery of them via the team.
