    School Finance Officer | Waltham Forest

    Do you possess School Finance Officer experience and are craving a new challenge in a Primary School environment?

    Ribbons & Reeves is working alongside a super school, to source a School Finance Officer to join them, at their Waltham Forest site.

    As the School Finance Officer, you'll be at the heart of ensuring smooth financial operations. You'll be adeptly handling tasks such as collecting payments from eager students for exciting trips and essential expenses through the ParentPay system.

    Along with this, your role as a School Finance Officer, extends to issuing order request forms ensuring every detail is accounted for. You'll be critical behind the scenes, obtaining authorizations, coding, and posting purchase orders and invoices. With a keen eye for detail, you will carry out the reconciling statements of accounts, ensuring suppliers are duly compensated for their contributions to the academy's vibrant ecosystem.

    School Finance Officer Role
    Salary: £28,000-£32,000
    Contract type: Full time, Term time, Permanent

    School Finance Officer Requirements:
    • Previous experience working within a finance team in a school setting.
    • Knowledge of school systems: SIMS, FMS, PSF etc.
    • Experience of working within financial control environments.
    • An understanding of financial systems and procedures.
    • Working and communicating effectively with relevant stakeholders.
