    Description
    Senior Process Engineer - Permanent - London

    Our client is an Operating company in the Clean Energy space .

    This company is working on 4 large projects and have been awarded more work and therefore looking to add technical experts in the London Office.

    All positions are permanent and will suit someone that is making a difference.

    Role and Responsibilities

    You will:
    Act in a senior capacity within the Process Engineering department.

    Participate in the development and delivery of process engineering turn-key projects, engineering specifications and deliverables (mass & energy balance, process descriptions, PFD's, P&IDs, control philosophies, datasheets, pipework, equipment and safety system sizing calculations etc).

    Be responsible for the design of process works.
    Maintain the required technical quality of work.
    Maintain planning control on scope of works
    Ensure that designs comply with the relevant Codes, Standards, Regulations and Procedures
    Liaise with sub-contractors and vendors to develop, deliver and troubleshoot solutions for the technology.
    Work with project engineering departments to ensure that constructed design complies with technology requirements.
    Define and lead minor projects to upgrade existing facilities.
    Define and lead optimisation activities at operational facilities.
    Work closely with the other engineering disciplines to overcome difficulties and find the best approach for the solution

    Person Specification
    Bachelor of Engineering (Process) or equivalent qualification.
    Chartered (highly desirable) or Incorporated with a professional engineering institution.
    Experience with using API, ANSI and ISO standards to design and specify process equipment.
    Experienced user of Aspen HYSYS.

    The role would suit a candidate with at least seven (7) years working experience, with at least five of those years in industrial process engineering design.

    On site and commissioning experience would be desirable.
    Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
    Flexible and open-minded to new approaches and solutions.
    Enthusiasm and aptitude to be part of a growing team.
    The ability to progress with several different tasks simultaneously, self-manage and deliver to schedule.
    An effective communicator with an excellent standard of oral and written English.
    Sense of adventure, drive and a self-motivator.
    Background and/or interest in alternative energy technology.
    An excellent ability to work with Microsoft Office including MS Visio and Projects.
    Travel to new and existing sites as required.
