Description
We are working on behalf of a leading education provider who are looking to appoint a HR Advisor on a full-time permanent contract to cover sites across the Birmingham area.
The role will be a home-based position, with site visits a couple of times a week, and the salary banding starts at £35k.
Daily duties will include:
Providing a generalist HR advisory service to a number of clients across the Birmingham area, over the phone, virtually and in personManaging a varied ER caseload, including disciplinaries, grievances, sickness, absence and performance managementCarrying out end to end investigations, chairing meetings and attending mediationsSupporting with restructures and the harmonisation of terms & conditionsPreparing and issuing paperwork, including outcome letters, reports and document bundlesGuiding on any legal issues and ensuring compliance with laws and legislationsHandling any HR projects as and when requiredSkills/experience required:Handling a varied ER caseloadConducting investigationsExcellent working knowledge of employment laws and legislationsConfident dealing with internal and external stakeholders of all levelsPackage/benefits:£0.45 per mile expenses for site work37 hours pw (flexible working pattern)26 days hol + bank holidaysBupa healthcare4.5% pension contributionJames Andrews is acting as an employment agency and business in relation to this role.
