    Senior Commercial Manager
    SENIOR COMMERCIAL MANAGER – SOLICITOR

    As a Senior Commercial Manager -Solicitor at Kainos, you will work as part of a leading , commercially focused in-house legal team.

    Act as trusted business advisor and partner, building strong trusted relationships with internal and external stakeholders , working collaboratively to effectively support business priorities.

    Lead on commercialisation and implementation of new offering s .
    Support Global Head of Commercial on team and workload management.
    Lead on strategic and non-legal projects with commercial focus or value add aspect .
    Undertaking risk analysis of proposed commercial ventures.
    Ensuring pragmatic company compliance with legal developments and new areas of law.
    Managing and supervising more junior members of the team ( as required ) .
    Provide upskilling and QA of work of wider Commercial team.
    Assisting Global Head of Commercial, General Counsel and CFO as required .
    Qualified Solicitor with significant post qualification experience in a legal/advisory role.
    Demonstrable experience drafting, reviewing and negotiating general commercial contracts .
    Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills with demonstrated ability of building strong trusted relationships with internal and external stakeholders

    A forward - thinking professional with the ability to act as a trusted business advisor to add value, manage risk and drive business success.

    Excellent commercial awareness .

    Ability to actively participate in knowledge sharing and training activities, both within the team and at a wider business level .

    Excellent time management, organisational and planning skills.

    We are passionate about developing people – a demonstrated ability in managing, mentoring and coaching members of your team and wider community is important.


    Familiarity within some or all the following areas of law: IP law, data protection, and procurement law.
