  • You will learn by working in your project, you will work with referents and you will have access to the entire BBVA training offer and to the Ninja project, a gamified training platform with a community of more than 11,000 participants with more than 2,000 talks, 1,300 workshops and 48 hackathons held.

    • Previous experience and knowledge:

  • More than 7 years of experience in a Process Management/Process Engineering / Consulting/ Corporate & Investment Banking roles.
  • Proficiency in mapping processes using business process management notations (BPMN) or other industry standard is preferred ( ARIS).
  • Prior success in leading process redesign efforts on large programs.
  • Ability to think holistically about complex organizational, process, and technology systems.
  • Ability to create deliverable documents in PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Google Sheets.
  • Experience with customer journey mapping, identification of moments of truth, and action planning.
  • Strategic organizational change management experience from intent development through realization with strong focus on identifying and mitigating change risks.
  • Work experience and knowledge in at least one or more financial services functions: Wholesale Banking activities like Global Markets, Transactional Banking, Lending, Transaction Processing, Deposit Operations, Operations, Finance, Bond Financial Risk.

    • Languages:

  • English Speaker, desirable Spanish as a second language (no mandatory).
  • Knowledge in french, german and Italian will also be valued.

  • Ability to build consensus and work in a team environment.
  • Ability to work in a consultative manner across multiple business areas.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented approach to personal work quality.
  • Self motivation skills, ability to work independently within a team environment and be a team player.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with experience interacting with senior executives and facilitating workshops and working groups.
  • Ability to manage multiple ongoing projects.

    • Overview

    Business Process Engineering is a cross asset and multidisciplinary team within Engineering CIB which goal is the transformation and optimization of the operational processes and with three main targets: improve customer experience, efficiency and reduce operational risk. We are seeking to incorporate a team member to the BPE CIB Europe team committed to participate in process transformation projects with high impact in CIB business, in productivity improvements or that entail a relevant risk for CIB operations. As part of this tasks you Will have the opportunity to collaborate and interact with different areas and stakeholders based in Europe branches and holding units within BBVA.

  • Definition and execution of Process Transformation Plans with specific focus on those affecting BBVA Europe Branches operations.
  • Participate as a process engineer in SDA CIB projects, designing and coordinating reengineering processes proposals.
  • Execution of key process reengineering initiatives with and "end to end" view (conceptualization and improvement solutions proposals, designed after an As Is /To be process analysis) with focus on process optimization and definition of KPI ́s.
