    About working for Nuova Distribution UK:Nuova Distribution UK Ltd is the branch office for Victoria Arduino and Nuova Simonelli espresso machines and grinders in the UK.

    Since 2017, we have focused on building long term partnerships with businesses looking to improve the quality and consistency of machinery offering , while investing back into the community through education and innovation.

    An opportunity has arisen for a coffee and beverage expert to work with us and our existing and future partners.

    This person will work closely with the Sales & Marketing teams to maximise the end user experience, and report to the Managing Director.

    We are looking for someone who lives within a commutable distance to London, as you will be based in Camden, London, where we have our showroom.

    Due to the nature of the role, you will also be expected to travel frequently to visit our partners and key end users throughout mainland UK, attend trade shows and out of office hours events.

    Monday to Friday (occasional weekend work may be required, against time in lieu).


    Main Activities:
    Develop & Conduct training sessions, workshops, and classes to promote machinery to end users. This includes hands-on practice, demonstrations, and interactive activities.

    Become an expert in coffee and beverages, including tea, cocktails and mocktails, and be part of both local and global initiatives.

    Create engagement through the participation of events, cuppings, SCA competitions, in order to drive potential interest to our brands.

    Establish and develop mutually beneficial relationships with partners, end users and the coffee community, exploring potential new leads and business opportunities.

    Conduct equipment demonstrations to support the Wholesale Partnerships team with key end users and partners.
    Coordinate events with the Marketing Manager, working closely on creation, promotion and implementation of physical and digital activations.

    Support Sales within the local market, visiting international and local exhibitions in line with annual activities plan and evaluating ROI.Share market insights to the CBC and sales teams.

    Support Sales department development, product and ongoing training according with HQ shared plan.
    Provide constant feedback around products and trends according to the needs of the market.

    Is this position made for you?Expertise in Coffee:
    A comprehensive knowledge of coffee beans, their origins, flavours, roasting techniques, and brewing methods is essential

    Barista skills:
    proficiency in espresso extraction, milk steaming, latte art, and other barista techniques is crucial for training activitiesCommunication: effective communication skills are necessary to explain concepts clearly, provide feedback, and engage with trainees

    Training techniques:

    being able to design and deliver training programs that cater to different learning styles and skill levels is important.

    This includes creating educational materials, demonstrations, and hands-on exercises.


    Industry trends and standards:
    staying up to date with the latest industry trends, coffee certifications, and standards helps ensure that the training provided is relevant and aligned with industry expectations

    Problem solving:
    coffee trainers should be adept at troubleshooting brewing issues, addressing equipment problems, and providing solutions to common challenges encountered by baristas

    Passion and enthusiasm:

    a genuine passion for coffee and beverages, and a desire to share that passion with others is vital for inspiring people and fostering a positive learning environment.

    High level of rapport building, communication skills and relationship managementTeamwork and leadership skillsExcellent English language skills both oral and written.

    National travel required with potential opportunities for international travel.

    Full, clean UK Drivers LicenseCompensation package:
