Building and maintaining our profile amongst external stakeholders, including Scottish Government, you will ensure SSSC continues to play an active and influencing role in the policy debate regarding workforce development, registration and regulation and is recognised as a valuable, effective, and impactful organisationIn addition to ensuring robust corporate governance and prudent financial management, you will oversee the expansion of the Register and promote an outcome-based approach that publicises the added value of the SSSC.
As a values-driven and inspiring leader with highly developed coaching, negotiating and influencing skills, you will bring a strong customer focus, a desire to deliver continuous improvement and excellent partnership working and stakeholder management experience.
This role will provide the successful candidate with the opportunity to lead a national organisation with links across the regulatory bodies in the UK and work closely with Scottish Government to directly contribute to national developments in the sector.
We offer a generous salary, flexible working arrangements, a full range of benefits, local government pension scheme and up to 43 days holiday (dependent on service).
