    Description
    • Participate in technology and business projects.
    • Install, configure, and maintain networking infrastructure independently or in collaboration with colleagues and vendors.
    • Generate regular reports for availability, capacity management, and necessary patches and upgrades.
    • Coordinate with InfoSec for internal/external vulnerability assessments, pen tests, and patching.
    • Engage in ISO27001 and CE+ annual and pre-certification processes, ensuring adherence throughout the year.
    • Serve as an escalation point for incident resolution, particularly in major service affecting incidents, including business continuity and disaster recovery.
    • Define, implement, and support an On-Call Rota for engineering support beyond core business hours.
    • Plan, manage, and execute a monthly maintenance window for significant infrastructure changes, upgrades, hardware & software patching, and preventative maintenance.
    • Develop and execute the technical IT strategic roadmap aligned with business goals, including proposing and justifying associated business cases.
    • Procure goods and services through external suppliers, ensuring value, efficiency, and quality.
    • Monitor and uphold support contracts with external suppliers in terms of service level, coverage, and value.
    • Maintain close communication with key business stakeholders to understand and address IT needs and pressures.

    Key Skills:

    • At least 4 years working in a similar role.
    • Experience in preventative maintenance and hardware and software patching
    • Exposure to IT framework processes such as ITIL
    • Data Centre and campus networking
    • Patching, upgrades, and preventative maintenance
    • OSI stack, TCP/IP, VLAN
    • DNS, DHCP, WAN, LAN, Wi-Fi
    • Switching and routing
    • Cisco or Meraki

    Advantageous:

    • SD-WAN, Remote access & VPN
    • Load balancing & reverse proxy
    • ITIL based IT service delivery environment – ServiceNow
    • ISO 27001 and Cyber Essentials Plus
    • IT Infrastructure Transformation programs and IT Change projects
