- To support the National Account Manager in building relationships with advisers from key National and Network Firms
- To collate data from various providers and internal sources to create a contact strategy to build relationships from non-supporting financial advisers.
- To create a contact strategy for both non supporting and supporting advisers to maximise opportunities that have been identified.
- To work with the Business Development Managers to maximise opportunities within the regions.
- To gain a thorough understanding of the company's products and services and the circumstances in which they may be appropriate for existing and potential clients and promote thesen to advisers.
- To collate information on the National & Network financial advisers from various sources available to Quilter Cheviot, and to support the distribution team in building and maintain panels
- To attend National distribution team meetings and provide a summary of any action points.
- To research market and competitor information which would be useful to the distribution team on given topics.
- To own and edit content on the Distribution Intranet (Sharepoint) and Training (Degreed) web pages on National & Network firms.
- Work towards the proactive management of an approved adviser list

This is a great opportunity to join a growing highly motivated distribution team supporting the National Account Manager and wider Quilter Cheviot Distribution Team. This is an exciting position for a candidate who has an appetite to learn, perhaps with aspirations for career growth within the sales team. The sales support position will provide a career path for the successful candidate in Discretionary Fund Management Distribution with the opportunity to learn more about the Business Development Manager role with a view to becoming a trainee and then fully fledged Business Development Manager in the future. There will be a requirement to gain industry qualifications if not already held.About the Role

Reporting to the National Account Manager, the role holder will be working with the QC Distribution Team, supporting them with many aspects of the sales role in addition to developing a panel of advisers to develop and service remotely.

About You
This role is for a candidate who is looking to learn about distribution and the sales process by working with financial advisers. The role provides the opportunity for career progression by developing to become a Business Development Manager within the financial adviser market. Ideally you will have previous experience in a similar role from Investment Management or Financial Services.
The role-holder will be required to manage their own workload.
The candidate will be required to work closely with all the distribution team and colleagues across the regions when appropriate.
