    Professional Development Lead for Inclusion - London, United Kingdom - Legal & General

    The Digital Learning Experience Lead has an important role to play to develop and deliver digital learning to support our goals.

    A digital wizard, you'll be an SME in digital learning strategies, passionate about using the latest technology in creating unforgettable learning experiences.

    Driving our digital learning approach to support us in our endeavour to provide impactful development opportunities in the flow of life and grow our learning culture and experience.


    • Creating blended and technology enabled development experiences that deliver against our strategy and purpose with the customer and our people at the heart of everything we do.
    • Building measurement and analysis of usage and business outcomes into solutions to clearly demonstrate impact and return on investment.
    • Help driving the development of learning systems and technologies in support of learning and development interventions, and lead on the implementation of these.
    • Project managing programmes and initiatives across the Talent & Development agenda, as directed by the Head of People & Leadership Development, in support of growing our people and developing a future fit organisation.
    • Coaching and supporting the divisional learning practices to build Learning Experience Design capability that help us all to do the best work of our lives, delivering innovative and impactful solutions.
    • Providing thought leadership, advice and guidance, in conjunction with the Group Talent & People Development team, to formulate and deliver strategic policies, initiatives and programmes across L&G.

    Awareness of best practice digital approaches within the learning profession and a desire to explore these in support of people development innovations.


    • Awareness of best practice experience design across a range of industries, not just financial services or learning.
    • Typically graduate level or corresponding experience/qualifications
    • Understanding of talent, learning, leadership and organisational development methodologies and tools.
    Experience of having scoped, designed and constructed digital learning with proved impact

    • Experience of creating blended/hybrid learning delivery methods, tools, formats and platforms.
    • Evidence of leading the delivery of a people development agenda across an organisation
    • Evidence of user-led experience design work that embeds and sustains behaviour change
    • Managing budgets to deliver people development interventions and tech
    • Skilled across a range of digital learning tools.
    • Facilitation skills and evidence of running focus groups and workshops that help build creative solutions.
    • Ability and willingness to understand and question regulatory or process-based challenges we might face
    • Influencing stakeholders to think differently about people development
    • Project-managing people development interventions from concept to delivery
    • Developing strong relationships and networks to get things done
    • Able to prioritise work and manage multiple projects simultaneously
