- Working closely with an experienced SEN teacher to provide tailored support to SEN children within the 'unofficial' resource base
- Assisting children who have been diagnosed with ASD or show traits indicative of ASD, some of whom may be pre-verbal
- Supporting children ranging from Reception to Year 2 within the Infant school setting
- Implementing individualized strategies to promote academic, social, and emotional development
- Previous experience working with children with ASD and/or other special educational needs
- Understanding of SEN support strategies and techniques
- Patience, empathy, and a nurturing approach
