JOB DESCRIPTION:
We are r ecruiting for a Clinical Specialist to join our Northern UK team, supporting the Cardiac Rhythm Management (CRM) technology lines by providing expert clinical consultation, teaching and support on the use of the CRM portfolio of products and its appropriate application in the clinical setting in the assigned territory (ideal candidate location Leeds/Sheffield/Hull).
You will maintain up to date technical CRM knowledge of current and new Abbott therapies and technologies as well as a general understanding of the dynamics of the country healthcare market.
You will p rovide technical support and assistance to the sales force, physicians and allied professionals for CRM case support.
You will be able to analyze the technical characteristics of competitors' devices and products, promote the CRM product lines and assist with market penetration by providing expert technical customer support.
Individuals will ideally have a science related degree as well as experience within medical devices, and specifically pacing/familiarity with cath lab procedures and protocol.
Strong communication skills and a willingness to travel (c. 75% of the time) are essential.Enthusiastic recent graduates in a relevant discipline looking to embark on a career in industry also considered, ideally candidates will have solid cardiac anatomy and physiology knowledge.
