Individual(s) with non-traditional backgrounds are welcome but must have a consulting mindset to support business growth into new energy-related areas and to help existing clients navigate the energy transition.
This role concentrates on supporting upstream, midstream and LNG clients focussing on integrated gas, decarbonisation and high-end consulting support.Mid-level role within our EMEA consulting practice reporting through the Upstream, Midstream & LNG service line.
The candidate(s) will be a member of the team providing technical, commercial and strategic consulting services supporting traditional operators and investors.
Here is a list of some current projects to give a feel of typical work and direction:Vendor due diligence of LNG assets
Performance of technical and strategic studies covering subject areas such as:
Traditional greenfield and brownfield upstream and midstream (including terminals, shipping, and pipelines) developments specialising in low carbon fuels (including LNG) and renewables
Technical and commercial due diligence on behalf of financial institutions and owners
Re-purposing of assets for low carbon and renewable energy vectors
Asset and portfolio optimisation to reduce carbon footprint
Performance of cost estimation and economic analysis to support the client business case
Delivery of technical and strategic projects
Support the growth and reach of the consulting business
Qualities and Experience:
Operate in technical and commercial decision-making discussions with confidence
Be familiar with a consulting business commercial approach (high margin, lower billability)
We are open to considering part-time and flexible working arrangements. English language skills
Willing to travel on semi-frequent, short-duration international business trips
