    Description

    We are currently seeking a Chief Technology Officer to assist in expanding Biospan's global operations and implementing the product vision using cutting-edge technologies such as artificial intelligence and LLMs.

    About Biospan:

    Biospan is an exclusive culinary and nutrition company that specializes in creating personalized organic meals for affluent clients. Our team offers tailored nutritional assistance, collaborating closely with medical professionals and personal trainers.

    Our skilled chefs prepare fresh meals on-site and stock clients' refrigerators with bespoke dishes in glass containers. We exclusively use organic, grass-fed, and wild-sourced ingredients. We analyze and optimize client outcomes based on various biomarkers, such as blood, DNA, and microbiome data.

    Biospan has developed a strong presence in the United Kingdom, the United States, the European Union, and the Middle East. As a pioneering Bio-Tech enterprise, we are in need of a seasoned Technology leader to drive our inventive initiatives and support the expansion of our global operations using advanced technologies, including artificial intelligence and LLMs.

    Responsibilities:

    • Staff planning and financial strategies for the technology department
    • Architecture planning for web applications, mobile apps, and internal software
    • Leading a tech team, code review, and providing guidance
    • Project management and business analysis for overarching strategy
    • Executing the product vision and roadmap
    • Optimizing operational efficiency and cost reduction through automation
    • Designing data engineering and science frameworks
    • Supervising internal IT, cybersecurity, and data compliance
    • Advancing artificial intelligence initiatives within Biospan
    • Ensuring development speed using agile methodologies
    • Facilitating service scalability through technology

    Requirements:

    • Prior experience in developing technology within startup environments and achieving successful outcomes
    • Extensive knowledge in forming tech teams, integrating enterprise software, handling cybersecurity infrastructure, and designing comprehensive company architectures
    • Seasoned expertise with a forward-thinking mindset to drive innovation and undertake calculated risks when necessary
    • Strong design acumen to uphold brand integrity and company ethos
    • Keen interest in health, wellness, and nutrition
    • Proficient in developing B2C and B2B software including web and mobile applications
    • Leadership experience in managing large teams, mentoring, and fostering patience
    • Proficiency in full-stack development, programming expertise, collaboration with UX/UI specialists, team leadership, and project management
