    Job Description:

    Are you looking to join a dynamic team as a Second Line IT Engineer? We are currently recruiting for an individual to play a key role in providing technical support, maintenance, and top-notch customer service.     Key Responsibilities:

    • Provide technical support and maintenance for user-based IT hardware and software.
    • Conduct thorough diagnostics with end users to facilitate ticket resolution.
    • Perform regular maintenance and patching of infrastructure, endpoints, and servers.
    • Escalate calls when necessary and ensure relevant teams are informed.
    • Undertake onsite customer visits as needed.
    • Demonstrate a customer-centric approach to support.
    • Communicate confidently and professionally with customers at all levels.
    • Effectively prioritize tasks and manage workload efficiently.
    • Stay updated on new technologies and solutions, even under pressure.
    • Share knowledge and collaborate as a valuable team player.

    Requirements:

    • GCSE or equivalent qualification preferred.
    • 1 year of experience in IT support and customer service is desirable.
    • Exposure to various technologies including:
    • Windows Server (2012 Onwards)
    • Microsoft Azure (Maintenance, configuration, and monitoring)
    • Microsoft Exchange (Beneficial)
    • Microsoft Office 365 (Maintenance & Configuration)
    • Windows OS 7, 8 & 10
    • Active Directory & Azure AD
    • Apple Mac (Advantageous)
    • DNS, DHCP, Group Policy
    • Backup – Veeam Configure, Maintain, troubleshoot
    • Networking, switches, subnets, LAN, WAN, DNS
