    Reporting directly to the Director ofConstruction Industries within Finning UK & Ireland, this rolewill provide strategic and operational leadership for the SITECHbusiness unit in the UK & Ireland.

    SITECH,is a cutting-edge company specialising in Trimble / Caterpillarbranded GPS and construction machine control technology.

    This role is responsible for developing thego-to-market strategy, structuring the team to deliver thestrategy, developing and executing an aggressive Annual OperatingPlan (AOP) and leveraging the collective horsepower within theentire Finning UK & Ireland business. You will also beaccountable for delivering revenues up to circa £25m, with asignificant focus on converting customers to our workflows andecosystems whilst maintaining high levels of customerexperience.

    JobDescription:

    Major JobFunctions:

    • Developingand executing fresh go-to-market strategies for the business,focused on moving from a predominately on-machine technologyprovider to a bias for off-machine hardware and software, coupledwith a healthy service and repairbusiness.
    • Lead the SITECHsales and business development function through a culture ofdata-based sales management, customer intimacy through excellentaccount management, coupled with new customer acquisition through ahunting and conquest mentality, all measured on a simpleperformance table
    • End-to-endoperational leadership of the SITECH business unit, striving forcontinuous improvement opportunities, innovations to drive growthin revenue, margin, inventory reduction, safe working practices,quality improvementsetc
    • Full people leadership,including health & safety, talent development and inclusion& diversity of a high-performance functionalteam.
    • Aligning strategy andexecution with Trimble, communicating and holding keyrelationships
    • Strategicmedium and long-term intelligence, in-depth industry knowledge andbriefing for senior levelleadership.
    • Owning andexecuting AOP and GTM strategy across functional areas ofresponsibility, including new hardware sales, softwaresubscriptions and aftermarket repairs / fieldsolutions.
    • Responsible forachievement of all targets / performance including – Market Share,Participation, Sales Excellence, Customer Experience, Full IncomeStatement and Working Capital across all Areas of SITECH. Alsoresponsible for Annual, Quarterly and Monthly Budgeting /Forecasting.
    • New ProductIntroduction (NPI) including hardware and software, as well asaftermarket innovations, working across all functional areas toensure opportunities are identified and matched to relevanthigh-potential customers and theirneeds.

    Knowledge:

    • Experiencewithin the Surveyingindustry
    • Civil Engineeringbackground
    • 5 years +experience in leading a multi-disciplined business segment orfunction.
    • Knowledge ofcustomers and competitors within the industries weserve.
    • Distributionorganisationalawareness.
    • Understandsmarketing programs in relation to the pricing of the assignedproduct.

    Accountability:

    • Upto x8 direct reports and x55 Indirectreports.
    • Annual salesturnover of over £16m in 2023 growing to +£25m within the 2025strategictimeframe
    • Development ofgo-to-market sales and marketingplans
    • Manage sales pipeline,from opportunity to execution to maximize growth of off-machine,on-machine, workshop and field repairs, rental and software sales /subscriptions.
    • Achievementof monthly, annually and quarterly sales targets from both arevenue and order intakeperspective
    • Achieve orexceed annual Trimbletargets
    • Accountable for thedevelopment of a sales pipeline demonstrable by maintaining ahealthy order backlog
    • Managegross profit and expenses to deliver EBIT target through processdiscipline
    • To drivesuccessful outcomes in all tenders submitted and demonstrablyincrease participationlevels
    • Contribute additionalrevenues through growth in all possible lines of business –increase Customer Share ofWallett
    • Manage problem andcomplaint resolution, providing solutions that improve customerloyalty and reduce risk /exposure
    • Accountable forcustomer satisfaction measures within the business area, efficientmanagement of customerdisputes
    • Achieve zero LTAsthrough a robust, participative management of health and safetywithin thebusiness
