    NOTE:- The salary listed is pro-rata based on 21 hours per week (3 days per week).

    Careers Young Workpath provides Careers, Information, Advice and Guidance and Employability Support for young people aged up to 25 with special needs) in Tower Hamlets. We work in schools, colleges and local community settings and we provide information, advice, and guidance to support young people into education, employment and training.

    We are looking to recruit one Brokerage and Tracking Officer to work from our public office in Watney Market. You must have a genuine interest in working with young people in Tower Hamlets and supporting them into education, jobs/apprenticeships and training. We are looking for someone who is self-motivated, has excellent interpersonal skills and communication skills and is a strong team player.

    You will be working with young people in a range of settings providing careers information advice and employability support. You will make referrals to providers and help young people apply for jobs and apprenticeships, education, and training. You will support young people to overcome barriers to learning and help them to increase their confidence to reach their full potential so that they can make effective transitions into adult life.

  • Experience of working within an IAG or job placing environment.
  • Experience of working with vulnerable young people who are at risk of becoming NEET or who are NEET.
  • Experience of partnership working or multi-agency working.
  • Experience of working in a multi-cultural environment with an understanding and knowledge of barriers young people face in accessing opportunities.

    • You will be highly organised and able to prioritise competing demands and manage a demanding caseload.
