    Opportunity

    BlackRock is currently seeking an Operations professional at the Associate level to become part of an outstanding opportunity to join a newly formed Investment Operations team. The diverse role spans multiple Middle Office functions including:

    Transaction Management, Derivatives & Collateral Management, Corporate Actions, Reconciliations and Relationship Management.

    The team plays an integral role within the organization, interacting with multiple internal and external parties to ensure risk is minimized, processes are efficient and high levels of client service are achieved, in what is an evolving and dynamic environment. You will have a unique opportunity to demonstrate both your technical knowledge and soft skills, performing daily investment operations tasks and facing off directly to the client to ensure we are meeting their goals.

    · Support the team leader in overseeing the client experience, participating and where necessary facilitating client calls, to build relationships, troubleshoot and agree strategy.

    · Support the team leader in managing and sustaining a robust team to meet client expectations and maintain operational efficiencies.

    · Can contribute as both a self-starter and team collaborator in a fast-paced, high-intensity environment.

    · Maintain operational risk management targets and client performance targets.

    · Build agendas, collate, and trend issues requiring remediation and drive resolution.

    · Analyze data to increase transparency, drive decisions and challenge the status quo.

    You have:

    · A broad technical knowledge of Investment Operations, connecting the dots to solve sophisticated problems. Aladdin knowledge is preferred but not essential.

    · Possess and demonstrate a solid understanding of various investment prod

    y/several of the following areas is desirable: Transaction Management, Derivatives & Collateral Management, Corporate Actions, Reconciliations and Relationship Management.

    The ability to influence, negotiate and partner with clients and business partners to push through agendas.

    · Excellent verbal and oral communication, capable of articulating complex problems and influencing behavior both internally and externally.

    · Strong control/risk mitigation mentality; ability to identify, manage and apply excellent judgement in critical issue scenarios and articulate this seamlessly to clients where necessary.

    · Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

    · Appetite to grow in the role and potential to develop leadership responsibilities / deputize in the absence of Team Leader.

    · Fluency in English language is required, German language would be beneficial.
