    Description

    Title:Accounting Manager (Japanese speaker)

    Salary: £40-50K (depends on experience)
    Location:London
    Job status:Permanent
    Core hours:35 hours per week
    Start date:ASAP Responsibilities: Prepare management accounts, journal entries input, bank reconciliation and consolidation package.
    Liaise with the external auditor and tax advisor to prepare statutory accounts and tax returns.
    Oversee payments and invoicing procedures.
    Assist in internal control assessment and improvement.
    Prepare annual budget and update forecast on a regular basis.
    Analyse the variance between budget, actual result and forecast, monitor budget achievement progress.
    Support business team in asset management and project development.
    Prepare board meeting materials, documents filing and other corporate-related administrative matters.
    Assist in general administrative duties for team members as appropriate. Requirements: Japanese to mother tongue standard with English fluent
    ACA, ACCA, CIMA or CPA qualified
    Demonstrable knowledge of accounting treatments (UK GAAP and IFRS)
    Demonstrable experience of Statutory Account preparation, VAT return, and statutory reports
    Strong Excel skills
    Experience and applied knowledge working with a wide range of accounting functions at the management level
    Proven ability in Management & Financial Accounting
    Ability to work with a high level of accuracy and meet tight deadlines whilst managing conflicting priorities
    Excellent accuracy and attention to detail
    Taking responsibility for solving problems
    Ability to work in a cross-cultural environment
