    Description

    Our partners work in the blockchain space so please only apply if this is an area of interest ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and implement secure and efficient smart contracts for the our organization's DeFi platform, and drive for innovation as part of this.

    Collaborate closely with the CTO, Senior Software Engineers and Research Analysts to shape architecture and translate it into smart contract functionalities.

    Work in tandem with the front-end developer to craft seamless end-to-end user experiences.
    Take ownership of the entire software development process, from inception to deployment and maintenance.
    Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in blockchain and smart contract development.

    Required SkillsStrong experience in smart contract development (Solidity), particularly in decentralised finance (Ethereum DeFi) applications.3+ years of professional engineering experienceFluency in blockchain / web3 technologies and protocols.

    Proficiency in a systems programming language such as C/C++/Java/Rust/GoProven ability to work independently, take project ownership, and drive initiatives to completion.

    Excellent verbal & written communication skillsBachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science / Engineering / related field, or equivalent level of technical knowledge (if self-taught, bootcamp, etc)Desirable SkillsExperience or interest in Bitcoin script.

    Experience auditing smart contracts or collaborating with smart contract auditing firms.

    Active participation in the blockchain ecosystem as a user Calyptus is an employment platform for engineers looking for work in Web3.
