    What you will do:


    • Plan major procurement projects


    • Build and lead diverse matrix teams to deliver to tight schedules


    • Develop specifications for best of breed technology and services


    • Identify and select the best suppliers in the world to work with


    • Negotiate complex deals in a competitive and adversarial environment


    • Financial modelling of contracts and developing innovative financial deal structures where appropriate


    • Negotiate contract terms, facing off against suppliers' lawyers


    • Avoid commercial and risk pitfalls in the contracting process


    • Influence to exec level - establish sufficient credibility to represent exec business owners in supplier negotiations

    What you will need:


    • Experience of developing, reviewing and agreeing contracts, and negotiating high-value, complex supply contracts (legal, commercial and technical negotiation)


    • Experience of influencing stakeholders and decision makers in a matrix environment


    • Strong knowledge of supplier markets and supplier market research


    • Experience in all aspects of formal sourcing and RFx


    • Experience in developing contract P&L models over a horizon of up to 10 years


    • Understanding of supplier and contract risk assessment, due diligence and monitoring


    • Technology procurement experience is desirable
