    Description
    CMR are looking for a brilliant new Marketing Manager - Surgical Devices to join our Marketing team.

    You'll be responsible for leading a specialist team and developing and executing the marketing strategy for the assigned product categories, which includes identifying market opportunities, defining product concepts, and initiating the product development process.

    The ideal candidate will combine their deep knowledge of medical technology with marketing expertise to bring innovative, high-quality solutions to the market.

    This role is offered on a hybrid basis, with a minimum of 3 days a week being based in the office.

    Monitor product performance and make data-driven decisions for product enhancements.

    ~ Market Research and Analysis:

    Conduct comprehensive market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape.
    Analyse market data to develop actionable insights for product development.

    ~ Strategic Planning:

    Develop and execute an upstream marketing strategy that aligns with overall business goals.
    Ensure compliance with regulatory and quality standards.

    ~ Marketing Communication:

    Provide strategic direction, segmentation and targeting for marketing communications.
    Collaboration on the development of marketing collateral, including product literature, presentations, and digital content.
    Support the development of marketing campaigns and strategies.

    ~ Manage the budget for upstream marketing activities, ensuring cost-effective strategies.

    ~ Work closely with sales, clinical teams, regulatory affairs, R&D, Digital and other relevant departments to ensure product success.
    Coordinate activities with the downstream marketing team for successful product launches.

    You'll be willing to turn your hand to anything within the Marketing Team remit that supports the team with delivering its objectives.

    A Degree or equivalent in Biomedical Engineering, Clinical Science, Marketing or Business.

    Several years of medical device/medical products and/or solutions marketing experience in an international business environment and in clinical settings.

    Strong analytical skills and a passion for shaping the market changing the standard of minimally invasive surgery and driving business growth.

    The ability to think creatively and pragmatically and convert product/customer feedback into valuable insights that can help drive the development of new marketing programs.

    Excellent advocacy and persuasive skills to collaborate with local market and sales teams, influence others, present convincing arguments, and build and maintain extensive KOL networks.

    The ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and be flexible enough to change priorities with short notice when necessary.

    Medical device/ solutions sales or clinical consulting experience is a strong plus.
    Clinical experience in the operating room with minimal access surgery or have worked in robotic-assisted surgery.
    Knowledge of surgical robotic systems, software launches, digital products, and ideally advanced vision systems such as ICG.
