    Commercial Assistant

    Alexander Steele is recruiting on behalf of a manufacturer of quality Food ingredients & finished products. This client remains a family run-business whilst leading the market within the UK with state of the art production facilities.

    An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Commercial Assistant to join the team, reporting directly to the Commercial Director.

    Hybrid Working TBC - Min 3 days per week in The Greater London Area.

    £28-35k + Benefits

    What your tasks are:

    Administrative Support

    • Prepare, organise & maintain documents & reports related to sales, procurement & market analysis.
    • Maintaining spreadsheets & assisting in the preparation of presentations for internal & external meetings.
    • Handle correspondence and communications on behalf of the Commercial Director, ensuring timely & effective responses.

    Procurement & Sales Support

    • Provide administrative assistance in the procurement processes, including document preparation and supplier communication.
    • Support the commercial director by managing customer related paperwork, sales reports & CRM database updates.
    • Assist with the coordination of marketing materials & sales promotions.

    Market Intelligence Support

    • Help gather & organise market research and intelligence to support strategic decisions.

    Requirements:

    • Proficient in Microsoft Office, with a strong emphasis on Excel and PowerPoint for data analysis & presentation preparation.
    • Excellent communication & interpersonal skills.
    • Excellent organisational skills.
    • Good problem solving ability.
    • Good attention to detail.
    • Ability to work on your own or as part of a team.
