    Job Summary

    Would you like to be part of a skilled team delivering essential treatments where every day brings new challenges?

    Join our Therapeutic Apheresis Services (TAS) team providing life-saving treatments to individuals of all ages.

    We operate in various regions nationwide, catering to a range of specialties like Sickle Cell Disorder, Haematological Oncology, Renal, and Neurological Conditions. Our team, with its specialized training, offers expert and compassionate care to diverse patients.

    No prior Apheresis experience is necessary. We offer a 12-week training period to equip you with the required skills.

    Main duties of the job

    - Perform therapeutic apheresis procedures utilizing cutting-edge technology.
    - Collaborate with your team to deliver top-notch care to patients and donors.
    - Engage in research projects and audits to enhance clinical practices.
    - Administer apheresis treatments to patients within our unit and at neighboring hospitals.
    - Take on leadership responsibilities in the absence of the Lead Nurse.
    - Be part of the emergency on-call rotation for off-hour treatments.

    About You

    Experience and Knowledge
    - Possess extensive clinical experience in acute settings.
    - Mentor and support professional development in a clinical setting.
    - Demonstrate the ability to identify areas for improvement.
    - Understand clinical effectiveness principles and best practices.
    - Familiar with patient safety initiatives and risk management.
    - Have experience with medical devices and technology.

    Qualifications and Training
    - Registered Nurse with Nursing and Midwifery Council registration.
    - Degree in a clinical area or equivalent experience.
    - Recent post-registration educational achievements.
    - Awareness of current nursing issues.
    - Teaching/assessment qualification is a plus.
    - Continuous professional development evidence.
    - Possess a valid driver's license and access to a car.
