    About the role

    In your role as Investment Communications Manager, you will make a meaningful and valued contribution from the outset.

    This role will provide a great opportunity to produce compelling, engaging narratives tailored to target audiences across a range of channels to promote USS Investment Management's capabilities, approaches, achievements and performance, and protect its standing as a major, responsible sovereign investor.

    What you will be doing

    As a trusted part of the Corporate Affairs you will be responsible for:

    • Acting as the principal point of contact, internally and externally (including media), for all investment-related communications, including Responsible Investment and Public Affairs
    • Promoting strategic media and stakeholder engagement opportunities to build and enhance relationships with key contacts
    • Leading on internal relationship management to proactively support the delivery of first class communications on investment issues and activities, securing input and sign-off
    • Translating expert investment inputs into compelling easy to understand narratives and content, tailored for different channels and audiences
    • Identifying best practice amongst global asset managers/pension schemes of similar standing and support the evolution of communications activity across the business
    • Developing and deliver a clear, measurable and achievable multi-channel rolling plan of proactive investment-related communications, demonstrably linked to supporting strategic priorities
