Able to co-ordinate colleagues, including technical employees at all levels, bid colleagues, marketing and communications, and external partnersSkilled in editing copy to correct grammar, spelling and punctuation, and ability to edit copy to house standard and styleSkilled in setting priorities that accurately reflect the relative importance of job responsibilitiesA strong team player with the ability to share information, offer support and provide guidance to both colleagues and customersCreative talents and the ability to solve tough problemsAbility to multitask and manage disparate plans in a services-based environmentAbility to prioritise effectively and work to demanding timelinesAdvanced MS Word skills & proficient in MS Office and MS TeamsSound commercial understanding, P&L, and risk management skillsBe comfortable working in an energetic, high growth environmentAccustomed to working to targets And what will your responsibilities be?Managing the written and editorial aspects of the bid and proposal development processCommunicating requirements, deadlines, and expectations to key stakeholders and the bid/ proposal teamMaintaining the bid library, bid tracker, author content, and editing text produced by other members of the teamRe-write or edit proposal responses from a variety of stakeholders, typically involving contributions from technical, sales, marketing, finance, commercial, legal, and operationsChecking drafts for readability, clarity, grammar, spelling, punctuation, sentence structure, and formattingProducing high-quality documents and ensuring completed bids/ proposals meet the bid specificationMaintaining the bid library, bid tracker, contentConducting bid analysis following completion of submissions to drive improvementsSound commercial understanding, P&L, and risk management skillsManage complex, multi-workstream opportunities.
