    NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde is one of the largest healthcare systems in the UK employing around 40,000 staff in a wide range of clinical and non-clinical professions and job roles. We deliver acute hospital, primary, community and mental health care services to a population of over 1.15 million and a wider population of 2.2 million when our regional and national services are included.

    The shift pattern for this position is Day/Night.

    An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital Emergency Department/Minor Injury Unit and Victoria ACH Minor Injury Unit for an experienced registered nurse, with ED experience, to join as a senior member of the team. There is one full time post available. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual, with a tenacity for Emergency Department and Minor Injury leadership role, who have passion and development goals towards progressing to band 7. A high level of interpersonal, communication, prioritisation, leadership and organisational skills are essential. All applicants must have the flexibility to work a rotational shift pattern consisting of: day shifts , ENP day shifts , night shifts and weekends.

    Applicants should have good knowledge of working in an Emergency Department and have experience of working at band 6 level. You must be able to demonstrate commitment to patient-centred care, whilst supporting adherence to unscheduled care performance and ensuring that quality standards and key performance indicators are met. It is desired that applicants will be able to demonstrate continued education at advanced level and dedication towards quality improvement. It is desired that applicants will hold HEI accredited minor injuries qualification, however this is not an essential criteria.
