The Role – Junior Account Manager / Sales Support (Construction & Demolition)
Location : Head Office (Mayfield, Edinburgh)
Salary: £23,000 - £26,000 per annum (DOE)
Bonus: Up to 25% of salary
Position: Full Time, Permanent
The NWH Group is a second-generation family business headquartered in Midlothian. Servicing the whole of Scotland and the North East of England from ten sites, the NWH Group's vision is to eliminate waste by transforming it into a valuable product.
On this journey to eliminate waste we provide waste collection services to the Construction, Demolition, Commercial & Industrial, Office and Retail industries. Collecting waste with our fleet of Tippers, Grabs, Trade Refuse, Skip and articulated vehicles. We transport waste to our material recycling facilities where we produce and recover valuable products such as gravels, washed sands, metals, cardboard, biomass for energy and animal bedding.
Our offering to the construction industry also includes concrete, sweepers and aggregates.

As a Junior account manager your time will be split between growing an existing portfolio of construction accounts and providing sales support to senior sales staff. You will inherit an account base currently performing ahead of target whilst dealing with some of the largest construction companies in Scotland and the UK through your support function.
The ideal candidate for this role will have some sales experience and an understanding of the construction industry. This is not a requirement however, training on the job will be provided so candidates with strong transferable skills are encouraged to apply.
This is an office based position working 40 hours per week.
Key Responsibilities: -
Pro-actively managing a portfolio of customers to increase spend through cross-selling.
Quoting customer enquiries and booking in orders.
Guiding the customer journey to ensure all issues are dealt with quickly and professionally.
Keeping an accurate record of your accounts within our CRM.
Managing your pipeline to ensure no stone is left unturned.
Supporting senior sales staff and management with pricing and orders. You will assist senior sales staff with the quoting and delivery of works for key customers.
