    Description

    Are you ready to lead the charge in empowering our client's manufacturing global team of Field and Onsite Service Engineers with top-notch technical skills and product training? Our client are seeking a highly experienced Training Manager/Technical L&D Manager to take the reins and ensure that their service community remains at the forefront of excellence.

    Based in West Sussex, the role is offered on a hybrid working model.

    What you'll be doing:

    • As the operational lead, you'll spearhead training initiatives for the client's esteemed engineers, vital for the seamless operation of their products worldwide. From installations to maintenance, your role directly impacts the success of their customers' manufacturing activities.
    • Drive Innovation: Reporting to the Global Technical Training Manager, you'll oversee a network of Training Centres, driving the adoption of cutting-edge training programs. Your expertise will shape induction, early career, and advanced technical training, fostering career growth every step of the way.
    • Operational Excellence: With strong L&D management experience, you'll bring invaluable insight to optimise the training landscape. From governance to assessment, you'll ensure the training operations run like a well-oiled machine, consistently delivering world-class service.
    • Continuous Improvement: Your keen eye for improvement will drive our business forward. Through audits and feedback mechanisms, you'll ensure our training remains unparalleled, always meeting regulatory standards and exceeding customer expectations.

    Requirements:

    • You'll have demonstrable learning & development experience
    • Technical training expertise, gained within a manufacturing or engineering environment
    • Experience of managing a remote team
    • You'll be a creative team player with an inquisitive nature
