    Description

    Due to new project wins the position of Archaeological Supervisor of Works has become available to join our growing team based in Amesbury

    You will be working within the Design Assurance Partner Team on one of the largest road infrastructure projects in the UK and embedded within our team of Archaeological Consultants, Archaeological Clerks of Works, and a large specialist support team.

    The role is as a site-based archaeologist in Amesbury, supporting the project team and the Archaeological Clerk of Works (ACoW).The successful applicant will work with the ACoW's to monitor subcontractor compliance, technical assurance, and contractual obligations.This is to ensure that the Scheme complies with all archaeological and historic environment component of the Development Consent Order.

    Role Requirements


    • A Degree in Archaeology, or in a relevant subject, experience in other specialist areas


    • MC IFA (Membership of Chartered Institute for Archaeologists


    • Extensive experience in managing and delivering archaeological fieldwork projects.


    • Experience of working on large-scale infrastructure projects as a Project Officer.


    • Up to date CSCS card (Academically Qualified Person or Professionally Qualified Person).


    • Stakeholder engagement and management.

    • Having integrity by always doing the right thing in the right way
