    Description
    Director of Technology - UK Based - £120,000 - £150,000

    I'm working with a prominent B-Certified retail firm who last year exceeded 100Million (£) in terms of sales turnover. The business has a mission, to drive ethical consumerism and encouraging people to enjoy the great outdoors.

    The culture of the firm revolves around this, sustainable and ethical living, a return to nature, and a real connection with the great outdoors and the natural world.

    This being said, it would really suit a candidate with a similar socio-ethical mindset, someone looking to do good and make a real impact within the technical space and wider environmental space.


    The ideal candidate would be someone that's come from a Magento / E-commerce background, with good working knowledge of Adobe and NetSuite who has ideally worked on some Product Management role previously.

    Within the role you'll be working on varied platforms, e-commerce, innovation, health platforms, dealing with agencies, contractors and various people who interface with the business, so it would be ideal if you've previous experience of managing multiple projects/teams/business requirements.


    Being in charge of a large operational budget, you'll be the key go to in terms of managing the digital transformation of the firm and how they're positioning themselves for success.

    You'll be looking after the following in terms of growth/development:

    Broader system architecture - consolidation of this
    Brand loyalty programme underpinned by Data Warehouse
    Single-view-imagery - utilising your understanding of UX/UI to make informed decisions around sales
    Product and Technical roadmap for the firm


    Key Technical Skills:
    Expertise in digital ecosystem management and transformation including helping to align disparate systems.
    Proficiency in Netsuite ERP and Adobe Commerce platforms.
    Strong understanding of system architecture and integration.
    Experience with agile development methodologies.
    Knowledge of CX/UX/UI principles and best practices.
    Ability to apply problem-solving, analytical, and creative skills to strategic decision-making.

    3 stage interview process. Screening call. 1 hour interview with head of product / head of technology. Presentation.
